Canam Steel Corporation (CSC) is a leading provider of open web steel joists and steel deck products in the construction industry. With a strong commitment to engineering excellence and project management expertise, CSC has successfully undertaken projects ranging from small retail stores to large distribution centers, high-rises, schools, and stadiums. As CSC expanded its operations across the United States with six manufacturing facilities, it became the most prominent manufacturer of specialized steel products in all 50 states. 

Struggles and Pains

As Canam Steel Corporation experienced significant growth in the industry, internal manual processes associated with employee lifecycle management, access provisioning, and HR operations began to create inefficiencies and challenges for the company. The Sysadmin was burdened with time-consuming tasks, including manual data entry, paper-based documentation, and repetitive administrative work.
