Founded in 2001, Synergy Global Housing (SGH) has become a trusted name in the world of temporary housing. It specializes in providing serviced apartments, corporate housing, and other accommodations for extended stays, catering to the needs of business travelers, relocating corporate professionals, and leisure travelers alike. Their unique approach to strategic, on-the-ground partnerships has allowed them to create a well-coordinated and efficient system offering 800,000 turn-key housing options in over 2,000 cities across 85+ countries. 

Struggles and Pains

With a global presence spanning multiple locations, SGH was rapidly expanding to meet the needs of its clients. However, as SGH’s global expansion picked pace, its HR and IT departments began to grapple with the challenges of managing the employee lifecycle efficiently across different systems. With over 200 employees spread across 14 office locations worldwide, it became increasingly difficult for the sysadmin to keep up with the manual processes of onboarding and offboarding employees. Other manual processes including maintaining accurate employee profiles, managing role-based access privileges, and updating security groups and distribution lists too became cumbersome and laborious. 

To overcome these in-house challenges, they tried setting up certain automation rules regarding dynamic distribution lists and groups. But the lack of end-to-end integration between their HRIS ADP and Azure AD (Active Directory) resulted in a lack of efficiency and accuracy in the process, making sysadmin tasks even more difficult. Eventually, they turned to RoboMQ for a no-code automation solution that could save them time and resources while ensuring data security and regulatory compliance. 

Resolution
