But for many business owners, simply knowing what to wear is not going to cut it; they need to know how the weather will affect their bottom line. For those answers, many business owners turn to DTN and its team of over 180 in-house meteorologists for real-time, hyper-local forecasts. DTN provides weather intelligence for over 50,000 farmers throughout the U.S., as well as companies in the fields of aviation, marine, shipping, and even sports. But the scope of DTN’s operational intelligence is not limited to weather, as real-time information on market prices and supply chains empowers business owners to make the right decision at the right time through the power of data. 

Struggles and Pains

While DTN’s operational intelligence keeps them at the forefront of data analytics, the company needed help when it came to managing employees in more than 13 locations spread across seven countries.
