Situation

Have you ever wondered how the natural gas that powers many American homes gets from the well to power plants? With many natural gas wells located in isolated places or even offshore, compressing the natural gas is a crucial step in the process of ensuring a smooth flow through the many miles of pipeline between the well and the customer. Natural gas compression can even increase well production, but it takes a lot of power to execute properly. That’s where CSI Compressco steps in; with a fleet of over 4,500 compressor packages that generate over 1.1 million horsepower they can handle anything the market demands. Providing service across the US, Mexico, Canada, and beyond, CSI Compressco is a leading global provider of comprehensive natural gas compression, treating, and cooling services from the wellhead to the pipeline.  

Struggles and Pains

While CSI Compressco has all the resources required to compress natural gas, their employee lifecycle management systems struggled to keep the flow of employee data running smoothly and efficiently. Stuck manually extracting employee data, mapping, and managing employee profile changes, and keeping profiles consistent between ADP and Active Directory (AD), CSI’s Sysadmins couldn’t keep up with the demand. New hires were onboarded slowly, terminated employees still had access to key systems and data, and the manual tasks required extra time and resources. If CSI was going to solve these problems, they needed an integration solution that could provide the management power to automate those tasks. 

Resolution

RoboMQ implemented Hire2Retire as a fully automated employee lifecycle management and identity provisioning product for CSI Compressco. Hire2Retire provided CSI with automated, end-to-end, no-code data integration between ADP and Hybrid AD, automatically syncing data between the two platforms upon an employee lifecycle event happening.
