Struggles and Pains

While Horizon specializes in providing top-of-the-line repair and maintenance services, manually keeping profiles updated and consistent for more than 1,000 employees caused problems behind the scenes. New hires often had to sit around on their first days of work, waiting for the correct system access and identity provisioning. Inaccuracies between employee profiles caused confusion, and the process of manually terminating employees was rarely quick, efficient, or riskfree. Not only did this slow down Horizon’s operations and force them to devote resources to manually manage employee lifecycles, but it posed data security risks when terminated employees retained their system access.
