As more consumers consider the negative impact their purchases can have on the environment, they are shifting away from supply chains based on synthetic chemicals and looking for more sustainable solutions. When it comes to providing those solutions, Modern Meadow is at the forefront of technological innovation. Founded in 2011 as an initiative to develop a sustainable alternative to leather, Modern Meadow is breaking new ground by creating proteins without petrochemical or animal products and applying them to bio-fabricated materials and ingredients without sacrificing performance or scalability. By introducing a more effective, more responsible, and readily available supply of these products, Modern Meadow is shifting demand away from extractive practices and towards a sustainable future. 

Struggles and Pains

As a company that is constantly looking for ways to innovate, it was only a matter of time before Modern Meadow began to search for a way to manage its employee profiles more efficiently between UKG Pro and Azure AD (Active Directory). Modern Meadow’s sysadmins oversaw executing any employee lifecycle event manually, a process that at times struggled to keep up with the demand. New hires could be stuck waiting for the right access on their first day of work, and terminated employees presented potential security risks if their access was not immediately revoked.
