Situation

Imagine a huge digital library consisting of a range of materials like wall coverings, tiles, flooring, and other design and architecture materials that are easily accessible. Material Bank offers an immense range of unique products sourced from budding to renowned professionals, creating a hub of all the material samples that architects and designers will ever need. The most sustainable and swift sourcing platform, the company offers a vast catalog of designing materials online. Designers can pick their selections virtually and place their orders directly with manufacturers, eliminating time-consuming manual searches and multiple vendor interactions.

Struggles and Pains

In a short span, the company has gained recognition for making the process of material sourcing in the architectural and design community more streamlined and efficient. However, there was a time when it was looking to streamline and improve the efficiency of its own HR-IT operations. The company was managing its employee lifecycle management and identity provisioning the hard way, making every update in its AD (Active Directory) manually. Not only was it an extremely complicated process, but there were also some latency issues because of which onboarding and offboarding of employees used to take lots of time.

At the time of the launch of Material Bank, Adam Sandow, the founder and CEO of the company, had the vision in mind of reducing inefficiency and delays because of manual interventions and outdated processes. There was no way he could let his own organization go through the same limitations. He knew that most of these processes could be automated with the right integration product.

Resolution

After scrounging the iPaaS industry and testing various options, Material Bank found just the right solution in Hire2Retire. With Hire2Retire automation, Material Bank automatically synchronized the HR system they had been using, which is ADP with Hybrid AD, and streamlined the process of employee lifecycle management efficiently. Hire2Retire enabled Material Bank to:

Provide superior First day at work to new hires.

Meet its compliance and privacy regulations needs through automation.

Save cost, time, and resources, freeing up time for the IT and HR team.

Streamline employee onboarding, offboarding, and resource provisioning processes.
