(UTS), a leading trailer manufacturing and sales company that has been providing quality products and exceptional customer service in Southeast Texas since 1970. With new centers opening up across the state, UTS has become an integral part of the supply chain that keeps America moving.  

Struggles and Pains

Today, UTS has grown to become one of the largest trailer sales companies in Texas, with centers in Houston, Pharr, San Antonio, Laredo, Amarillo, El Paso, and Eagle Pass. But with growth comes new challenges. As UTS expanded, it faced difficulties in managing its growing workforce. Its manual employee management model was time-consuming and prone to errors. The lack of integration between its HRIS and access provisioning system, ADP and AD (Active Directory) resulted in the absence of a structured onboarding program for new hires, making employees feel overwhelmed and disconnected from the company culture. The absence of automation also rendered its offboarding process inefficient and insecure, putting the company at risk of data breaches. To overcome these challenges and improve its HR processes, UTS realized the need for an automated solution to integrate its employee lifecycle management and resource provisioning processes.
